Sharing Thoughts
| What can anyone say? There are no words. We can see countless miracles of our Shaykhs in every second of every day if we only recognize them as such. They save us from the horrors of the world around us; they show us beauty that others cannot see; they give us sounds so sweet and comforting; the beautiful aromatic smells of saints; even our food tastes incredibly delicious with their baraka. They give us words when we need them, and constant guidance in all that we do. I am 53 years old...I am a reverted Muslim who was so blessed as to be pulled out of the evils and sins of this dunya. Then I was blessed yet again to be lead to sufism in the year 2000 through Sufi Muhammad Sadiq Sahib in Pakistan, along with my husband, Nisar Ahmed. Our journey continued on to Mawlana Sh Hisham. My life has become as a dream since then. No matter what happens to me or around me, I can accept it as now I know, through my Shaykhs' teachings that all is in Allah's (swt) hands, and we are always under the protection of our Prophet (saws). So there is no fear, no anger, no sadness...only the joys and beauty of what we are given. Even what I thought was troublesome or problemic for me in the past, now I see they are but blessings-test for us in this life in preparation of Akhira. No, words cannot express the feelings I have when I hear Sh Nazim or Sh Hisham speak, or when I see them; even in pictures they show more love to me than anyone ever has or could in my entire life - Ones who accept me with all my past difficulties and sins, and forgive me and see me for the person I INTEND to be....not even the one I am. I feel their guidance in all that I do. May Allah bless them and give them and their families constant good health and long lives. My Salaams and Love to All, Sairah |
